On Sunday August 14, 2011 live from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, UFC betting fans will get to watch UFC Live Hardy V Lytle. This card marks the UFC’s debut on Verses, which was the main home for UFC’s arch rival Strikeforce. What’s more, as you will see in this preview, the top two fights in this sports betting event, are much better than the upcoming UFC 133 main event and co main event. Here is a preview of the card.
UFC Live Hardy V Lytle, as you can imagine, is headlined by a Welterweight clash featuring Dan ‘Outlaw’ Hardy and Chris ‘Lights Out’ Lytle, two fighters each known for devastating opponents. While both are being billed as knockout specialists, the reality is that Lytle is an excellent submission artist. On paper, this fight has the potential to be the fight of the night. It also has the ability to help one of Hardy or Lytle catapult into a title fight with the winner of George St. Pierre and Nick Diaz who are set to face at UFC 137 in October.
The other big fight on the card is a Lightweight bout between Jim Miller and Ben Henderson. Miller is a newcomer to the UFC, while Ben Henderson last fought at the inaugural Toronto UFC Card, UFC 129. With Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar set to clash in September at UFC 134, the winner of Miller vs. Henderson could be next in line to face the Lightweight Champion. In theory, Henderson is a guy that casual fight fans will get behind, since he was a household name in the WEC, before losing the Lightweight title to Anthony Pettis. What’s more, if Henderson keeps winning he will get a shot at either Maynard or Edgar, ahead of Pettis, who lost his most recent fight.
