Breeders Cup betting enthusiasts won’t have to wait long after the tournament concludes to watch a new sporting event, as UFC 138 is Saturday November 5, 11. Live from the LG Arena in Birmingham, England UFC veterans Chris Leben and Mark Munoz will main event one of the more suspicious cards in recent memory. The two middleweights highlight a bookie softwarecard that even the most hardcore of MMA fans couldn’t tell you who was fighting. Here is a preview of the card.
Chris Leben is riding a wave of momentum, after an impressive first round knockout of Wanderlei the axe murderer Silva at UFC 132. Meanwhile, Mark the Filipino Wrecking Machine Munoz is also riding a wave of momentum, as he has torn up the UFC’s middleweight division over the last two years. Munoz has won six of seven fights, and should be next in line for a fight with Anderson Silva, should he defeat Chris Leben. At 33 years old, the former US Military member, is a fan favorite with the hardcore MMA fans, as Munoz has looked dominant at times this year. Look for Munoz to beat Leben by submission on Saturday.
The co main event for this fight will be a Bantamweight matchup featuring former WEC favorite Brad Pickett, fighting UFC fan favorite Baro. Baro has dominated the MMA over his career. At just 24 years old, Baro is 26 and one in 27 career fights, with most of his victories coming by way of submission. On the other hand, Brad Pickett is currently riding a 10 fight win streak. The winner of this bout should in theory be the next in line to take on current Bantamweight Champion Dominic Cruz. By all accounts, this could be the fight of the night, as both Baro and Pickett have been known to put on exciting affairs.
